About ImpactADHD and our Co-Founders

Elaine Taylor-Klaus, CPCC, ACC
Hi, I’m Elaine. I am a change agent: a mother, a health care advocate, a parenting educator, a political organizer, a writer, a social worker, a community entrepreneur, a real estate developer (long story, bit of a diversion), a public speaker, a facilitator, and a compassionate listener. I’m also a certified professional coach, a social entrepreneur, and an advocate for families living with ADHD. Oh, and I’m the mother of 3 complex kids.

I became a Life Coach – specializing in ADHD, ScreamFree & Parenting Coaching -- because I feel passionately that parents deserve company and support on their journey to raise complex children. I’ve always worked to improve the life and health of children, women and families. ImpactADHD™ is my best expression of that passion, to date!

Prior to coaching, I established a speaker's bureau for parents of special-needs kids, and served on Georgia’s Governor's Council for Maternal and Infant Health. I taught Couples Labor & Delivery classes, and pregnancy and postpartum yoga classes. I have worked on a national level in women’s health care, and got my start at the NYC Commission on the Status of Women. A graduate of Wesleyan University in CT, a CORO Fellowship in New York City, and CTI’s Co-Active Leadership Program, I am certified by the Coach Training Institute and the International Coach Federation.

My husband, David, and I collaborate playfully and respectfully in our business, Touchstone Coaching, and we intentionally co-parent our ADHD Family of Five. We live in Atlanta (city-dwellers, no suburbs for us) with our three kids, a dog named Kat, and within 10 minutes of all four grandparents (yes, we know how lucky we are!).

Whenever possible, I enjoy yoga, baking, hiking, watching movies, reading novels, and a really good belly laugh.

Diane Dempster, MHSA, CPC, ACC

I’m Diane, CEO and Founder of Inner Progress Coaching. After 23 years in corporate, I took the opportunity to align my work with my passions. I recognized that one of the things that I love the most is helping others discover and achieve their goals and dreams. I stepped into a career in coaching in order to be able to work with my passions on a full-time basis.

I’m also a mom. I have two wonderful pre-teens and a 26-year old stepson. When working, I noticed that I was giving my all on the job, and my kids were getting the leftovers. Being an entrepreneur allows me the flexibility to make stronger choices about how I spend my time.

I help busy professionals who are tired of feeling like there aren’t enough hours in the day to discover the real cause of stress in their lives. This allows them to bring their “A” game to work, and also to be more relaxed and “at home” with their families. I also help families who are challenged with stress and disharmony understand how they can re-connect by focusing on what’s right for them.

Working with other parents who are focused on managing how ADHD impacts their families is a wonderful and logical step for me. I live my life that way each day, and I love that I can share that journey with others on similar paths. I look forward to meeting you there…
