A graduate of Walden University, Sandy Maynard holds a Master of Science in Health Psychology and is author of 'Personal and Professional Coaching: A Literature Review.' A pioneer in the field of coaching people with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD), Maynard has established herself as one of the country's preeminent coaches and was instrumental in the development of The National Attention Deficit Disorder Association's Coaching Guidelines. As a founding board member of the Institute for the Advancement of AD/HD Coaching, Sandy is committed to the professional and ethical development of AD/HD coaching worldwide. She is a certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and utilizes a holistic health and wellness approach with her clients. Ms. Maynard lives in Washington, DC where she operates Catalytic Coaching, providing entrepreneurial consulting and coach training for individuals starting their own coaching businesses. Sandy lectures internationally and is a regular contributor to ADDitude magazine.
