You’ve heard it before, I’m sure, but it warrants repetition: create good sleep habits. They say you should only use the bedroom for sleeping & evening “relaxation”. I don’t know how practical that is for everyone. They also say to go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day. Not sure I could handle that one, either.
But what IS doable is to turn off all glowing screens at least 30 minutes before sleep. It’s a challenge, but it’s definitely doable.
Before sleep, give yourself the gift of decompression. Let your brain take a break. You’ll sleep better, for one. And you might just get back to those summer books you wanted to read.
