Katherine Ellison is a Pulitzer prize-winning former foreign correspondent and author of five Katherine Ellison books, including Buzz: A Year of Paying Attention, a memoir and journalistic overview of a year spent coping with ADHD after both she and her 12-year-old son were diagnosed with the disorder. Ellison has reported on ADHD and other learning and behavioral issues for media including The New York Times and the Washington Post, and maintains a lively Facebook page for people interested in the latest research. She lectures nationally about ADHD to academic and professional groups, and to parents. Ellison has also collaborated on books such as ADHD: What Everyone Needs to Know and Square Peg: My Story and What It Means for Raising Innovators, Visionaries, and Out-of-the-Box Thinkers.
